Join us for a five-day expedition designed for those who seek exploration and adventure, expert guidance and skill development, and the chance to contribute to research and conservation along the way.

 All in. The greatest strength of our longer expeditions is the freedom to adapt, allowing us to respond to changing conditions and get the very best out of one of the UK’s wildest marine environments. Over five days we move between coastline, islands, and open ocean, following the wildlife and the opportunities each day brings. It’s hands-on and flexible, shaped by the weather, the wildlife, and the group. All delivered with the experience and care that comes from years spent learning how to get the best from Pembrokeshire’s world-class waters.

We’ll be running ocean Expeditions from May to September, always aiming to find the best and most exciting wildlife the season has to offer. As our climate becomes more unpredictable, nature keeps us on our toes, but the wildlife still tends to follow its own seasonal rhythm.

In spring and early summer, islands like Skomer are at their loudest and liveliest, packed with seabirds and the puffins we all adore. Come summer and early autumn, the waters warm, and blue sharks become our reliable offshore companions. While porbeagle sharks roam between inshore and offshore feeding grounds depending on the time of year, keeping them high on our wish-list no matter the month.

As for whales, bluefin tuna, mola mola…they’ve surprised us at every stage of the season, often appearing in places and moments we never quite expect.

So there’s no way to guarantee exactly what you’ll see, but we can guarantee this: whatever the sea delivers, we’ll make the most of it together. And it’s going to be brilliant.
